Hasslefree Terrain

A few months ago now we were approached by Simon Harris. For those who arent aware who he is, let me elaborate with a quote from the Forgeworld designers page.....

"Simon Harris has made most of Forge Worlds' terrain pieces for both Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000. Simons' work includes the ruined Cityfight buildings and pillboxes for Warhammer 40,000 and the Khemri ruins for Warhammer."

Simon decided that he wanted to do some resin pieces for the Grymn. It was something that had been on our 'to do' list for this year so we thought "why the heck not!"

I have popped some taster pics below and have included the links for a larger selection of pics below those. Worth taking a look.........

The images on the links below have dimension details and also show the pieces primed so that you can see more of the details of the castings themselves rather than just ogling Simons great painting!

The aim isnt so much to provide terrain pieces for gaming (although they can of course be used for that and who are we to tell you what to spend your 'toy budget' on!!) but to provide a series of diorama/vignette bases for those who collect and paint our figures.

The first pieces shown are obviously for the Grymn, but pieces to follow will include Villagers and Humans.

One of the downsides to resin is that the moulds wear out very quickly and Simon wants to make some 'tweaks' to the pieces shown so he is going to add to the master when we need to remould. We have 34 sets (one of each type)from the first batch of moulds. Simon has kept a couple and so have we which mean! s that there will be 25 sets of these 'pre-production limited' castings on sale next week. I will number each casting as '1 of 34' and will pop a notice up when they go on sale.

The price will be £7 for each piece, so £21 for the set (if you decide to splash out!) and by next week i will have worked out a deal where the figures shown will be included with the piece for an amount less that what it would cost to buy the figures separately.

As always, thanks for reading and if you have any questions just contact me
