Man, this figure is so pretty she almost makes me wanna cry... I must be getting a bit sentimental.
Anyway, she really is a terrific sculpt. Very elegant.
I painted her for a friend and she was also one of my entries in the fourth annual Chick Challenge (she got a third place in the elf category, wooohooo!).
I considered painting her like some kind of snow elf with lots of pale, bluish colours, but decided that I would probably mess that up. Maybe the next one.
Instead I went for a traditional Wood Elf colour scheme with browns and greens. I wanted to keep her overall look very simple so I resisted the urge to freehand on the cloak.
I had such a good time painting her, and I'm quite happy with the result.
