Painted June 2003

I quite like this sculpt, nice and simple. To make the smooth power armoured look a little more interesting, I added some Sky-Earth NMM to some of his armour plates. I also tried to make his claws look like energy weapons. Unfortunately it's a little hard to see in the pics.

The blue part of the armour was what caused me the most trouble. Since the Major had been stading on my painting desk as a WIP for ages, I had forgotten what blue colour I had used for his armour. I remembered that it was a Foundry colour though, so after a bit of testing I found it and I'm quite happy with it :)
