Painted March 2003

This "girl" is from WOTC's extinct Chainmail game. I'm not used to painting non human skintones so this was quite challenging for me. I decided that she should be a half dragon with a Brass or Bronze dragon parent. To give the metallic look I painted the skin with brown tones, highlighted and shaded as usual and then I gave the skin a glaze of dilluted metallic paint. The effect doesn't look that great in pics, but it's pretty neat in real life, especially when you can turn her and see how the reflections change with the light.
