Painted March 2004

This is a limited edition mini sculpted by Gael Goumon and cast by Taban. I bought a couple of them on ebay, and I really like them. The casting is very good and the slightly smaller scale and realistic style is refreshing. I also really like the Japaneese style garden base.

I decided to give her a simple paintjob with a limited palette. I think it works well with the style of the model. I have no idea how a Geisha's make up is supposed to look, so I borrowed some ideas from Taban's version.
