Painted November 2003

I have to admit that I've fallen in love with the turquoise/black colour combo. It looks so nice and it's very easy to paint. Foundry's Teal Palette is pretty easy to blend with and black needs a minimum of highlights to look good.

I also really like the figure. The pose is very dynamic. It was kinda relaxing not having to paint a face - no eyes to mess up!

I started out with painting the sword NMM style, but that turned out horrible. The shape and position of the sword makes it a little hard to paint. In the end I went for a purple/black powersword look, which I really like.
