Painted June 2002

The Dark Reaper Exarch was the first mini I painted for sale on eBay. I was inspired by the Eldar codex but I decided to use red instead of purple and to give the bone parts a more ancient look. This is one of the few mini I've painted using a black undercoat. I've found out that red is much easier to paint over black than white. The highlights on the armour are just simple lines of Codex Grey, but I think they turned out nice and subtle.
