Painted for ebay october 2002

This fig is one of the packs I won in the Fantization Contest. I-kore's standard for rank and file is really impressive. This fig was my first attempt at painting a tartan. It's not an actual tartan, just some colours I liked. I think real tartens tend to be more complicated than this. I also tried a little Sky-Earth NMM for her shield. The method I used is decribed in my Gold NMM tutorial. I'm really happy with the way her face turned out. I think painting a little white dot on the buttom lip makes a big difference.
