Painted May 2003

This is one of the limited edition figures from the CoolMiniOrNot contest. I didn't get her ready on time for the contest, because I didn't think the sculpt was very inspiring. Her head is kinda big and the sculpt is a little flat. I also couldn't imagine anyone would go to war with a sword like that, so I decided she had to be some kind of Barbie warrior. Since she was a Barbie, she would have to wear pink, and I have no doubt that Barbie would pick a pink sword, if she had to fight. As a contrast to the very light pastel look, I made a quite realistic looking base with some dried leaves and some wood. I quite like the confused look on her face. She has no idea how to fight with the huge pink plastic/crystal sword :D
